Maxillary Sinusitis after Sinus Augmentation: Case Report

Abstract
The maxillary sinusitis, an inflammatory lesion that occurs in the maxillay sinus. Sinus disease begins from a blockage of the ostium, dental origin infection (like bone graft materials, implant, tooth etc.), upper respiratory viral infection, allergic rhinitis, immunodeficiency. Sinusitis have been treated by antibiotics, endoscopic surgery, and Caldwell-Luc procedure. Although Caldwell-Luc procedure is associated with significant complications, it also associated with lower re-operations. So, this study was reported case that 50 years old male patient who had chronic maxillary sinus in left maxilla after maxillary sinus graft and implant placement and treated by Caldwell-Luc procedure with review of the literatures.
